In the first week of February, a delegation of Saxion Universities of Applied Sciences visited Moscow to get acquainted with Russian universities specialized in tourism and hospitality. On the first day of the working visit, the Saxion representatives stopped by the Neso Russia office for three presentations by the Neso team: one about the higher education system in Russia, one on Neso Russia’s activities and one on Russia and the hospitality industry. Saxion then informed the Neso staff about the latest developments and activities at Saxion.
Neso Russia’s Education Specialist assisted Saxion during the visit and their meetings with four Russian universities. At the moment, the representatives of the Russian universities are comparing their curricula to that of Saxion Universities of Applied Sciences to see what kind of joint programmes they can produce together. Furthermore, two universities are working on their letters of intent that could result in the signing of bilateral letters of agreement. In addition, several hotels were visited in the Russian capital to discuss traineeships for Dutch students. Neso Russia would like to wish Saxion success with their international partnership plans.
