First scholarship results announced

Results for the HSP Huygens Scholarship Programme have now been announced: an additional six Russian students are more than happy to leave for the Netherlands to study. All of them will start their master’s studies, and will enrol in various disciplines at five different universities.
In total there were 50 applicants from Russia, 44 of which were serious applications, according to the scholarship administrator.
Another four Russian students who attended Nuffic Neso Russia University Scholarships seminars have reported on their success. One will receive a scholarship from Leiden University (Platinum scholarship), two have been granted scholarships from VU University Amsterdam and one has a full scholarship from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
All students admitted to Dutch universities have been invited to pre-departure briefings, to take place at the Nuffic Neso Russia office in Moscow on 11 July and 1 August.
