Visit Dutch universities at the International Education Fair

A big delegation from Dutch universities will visit Moscow and St. Petersburg the second week of October 2009. The universities will participate in the 16th edition of the International Education Fair.

The fair in Moscow is being held at the Hotel Radisson SAS Slavyanskaya, Europe Square 2, Saturday the 10th of October 2009, from 12:00 till 17:00. The entrance is free.

In St. Petersburg the fair is being held at the Grand Hotel Europe, Mikhailovskaya Street 1/7, Sunday the 12h of October 2009, from 12:00 till 17:00. The entrance is free.

Students who are thinking to study abroad and are interested in Holland are welcome to visit the Holland pavilion were they can meet and talk with representatives of Dutch higher education institutions. They universities are ready to answer all questions on study & career possibilities, education programmes and about living in Holland.

Holland has an international study environment. More than 70,000 student come from abroad, this is more than 10% of the total student population in the Netherlands. Last year 500 students from Russia were studying in Holland.

More than 1,450 study programmes

Holland was the first non-English-speaking country to offer courses taught in English. The Dutch higher education institutions together offer more than 1,450 international study programmes and courses taught in English. This makes Holland the front-runner in continental Europe.

Russian and the Netherlands share a long history and tradition in co-operation in education, science and economy - dated back from the time tsar Peter the Great visited Holland. With famous companies and brands Holland is at the moment one of the biggest investors in Russia.
