Tempus IV: Russian universities looking for Dutch partnership

Russian universities are looking for partners to cooperate in Tempus IV programmes funded by the EU.

Tempus is a European Union programme which supports the modernisation of higher education in the EU’s Partner Countries in Eastern Europe as well as in other regions.

Tempus also aims to promote voluntary convergence of Partner Country higher education systems with EU developments in the field of higher education such as the Lisbon agenda and the Bologna process.

The deadline to apply for Tempus IV at the EU is 15th February 2011.

The Tempus IV proposals have various different topics, amongst others:

  • engineering education
  • tourism
  • Bachelor program in tourism
  • information technologies
  • lifelong learning in society at large
  • international relations development
  • translation and translation studies (2x)
  • wind energy; nano composite materials; machine-building technologies
  • nano sciences and nanotechnologies
  • life-long education, information technologies, economics, foreign languages and tourism
  • applied computer science based on competent approach
  • translation and translation Studies.
